LEAD trumpet mouthpieces based on the amount of freedom or resistance that a player uses. 

The San Diego is the freest blowing of the Five. It has a #25 hole and Wide back bore.

This mouthpiece was designed to be played with extra Large bore trumpets (.470) or Large bore Trumpets.

The LEAD has a #25 hole, and the back bore is Narrow.

The ARTIST has a #28 hold and a slightly narrow back bore.

The New York has a #28 hole and a "Friendly" Back bore.

The Los Angeles has a #30 hole and slightly narrow back bore

and because it has no alpha angle it is easy to play for extended periods of time.
